Defense Contract Audit Agency

The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) performs contract audits for the Department of Defense and provides accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DOD components responsible for procurement and contract administration. DCAA services are provided in connection with assistance with negotiation, administration, and settlement of contracts and subcontracts.

Information about current and ongoing audits is not available online. DCAA contract audits with significant findings are reported in Department of Defense Office of Inspector General reports, and those summaries appear in the section DOD IG Reports to Congress.
